6 good reasons why I like living in Basel...

Do you know why I like living in Basel? Here's why:

- Because I sat in the tram today and there were three baby carriages in the compartment: one baby was white, one was black and one was of Asian decent. Getting off the tram, three little boys crossed my way: one wore the football shirt of Brazil, one the Swiss tricot and one the shirt of Italy... it surely is a truly international environment!

- Because on Thursday I went to see the world premiere of an open-air opera production in a football stadion - 1000 performers and 10.000 people in the audience!

- Because you never wait longer than 7 minutes for public transport during the day.

- Because I can walk to work and get to the airport in no more than 20 minutes max.

- Because today I have 39 degrees Celsius on my roof terrace - in the shade! (seriously, no kidding)

- Because I love my home!
